Lose weight, how do I do it?

There are many different diets that claim to be the miracle diet for you to lose weight, but the truth is that it is not due to the diet itself. Weight loss is determined by whether or not you are in a calorie deficit. You might understand where I'm going, weight loss is all about being in a calorie deficit. However, you can do it in different ways. You can either start moving more, be more active during the day or start exercising more. The best known and the easiest to control to know that you are in a calorie deficit is to eat fewer calories than you burn.

Don't get me wrong, working out is great, especially strength training and heart rate-raising activities when you're losing weight. However, keeping track of the calories you take in daily is almost even more important. Which you can do yourself. Today there are many good apps to be able to use such as "Lifesum" and "MyFitnessPal" which are free to use. In these apps, you can enter all the foods you eat and the app then calculates the amount of calories you get. If you don't have the energy or desire to do it yourself, you can also get help with a diet plan from a licensed nutritionist or a dietician.
